Valerie has counseled children and adults for more than 35 years.  Over the past 20+ years, she has also been a public speaker on a wide variety of mental health topics for both professionals and the general public. She concurrently directed an outpatient department in a large mental health center for a decade.  She began her full-time private practice 15+ years ago. After all of these years, Valerie still loves the work of helping clients of all ages see their way to a healthier and happier life. She specializes in parenting issues, postpartum depression, and depression and anxiety.

Marianne works with adults 18 years of age and older.  She works with conditions of daily stress, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and better self-care along with many other issues and concerns. Marianne has experience working with a variety of populations and specifically has experience with military families with whom she has worked for 17 years. She also specializes in Christian counseling for those who desire it. She uses various techniques including mindfulness, meditation, talk therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
